Stranded on a deserted island, Alex must overcome the sorts of trials you would expect, such as wild beasts, malfunctioning robots and jealous mermaids, not to mention the realities of surviving with only your wits and a number two pencil. However, the trials most difficult to overcome may be her own fears.
ExplorationSecrets and treasures are all over the island for intrepid explorers to discover.

Quick StrategyThe battle system is a hybrid between strategy games and turn based RPGs. The goal of each battle is to get your opponent(s) to leave the battle grid, much like a Sumo match. Positioning your character(s) in the grid is just as important to victory as the types of attacks or items you use.

Resource ManagementThe realities of living on an island with no supermarket will become evident on Alex's first day ashore, but careful management of found items will help her survive and flourish. Once the player has found some companions, tasks can be delegated, leaving more time for exploration, battling and puzzle solving.

PuzzlesPuzzles can be found blocking off some areas of the island or protecting treasures. Also, your decisions matter during the nightly message: special items can be obtained or story arcs unlocked.

Speed RunnersThis game can be completed in a relatively short amount of time. The quickest game ending can be achieved at 5 hours or less (possibly much less). To help speed runners along, all cinemas are skippable and enemies use no RNG.

CompanionsDuring story progression, Alex may make friends with several strange creatures. Aside from leaving them behind at camp to manage resources, they can be taken along to help Alex battle foes and solve puzzles.

Multiple EndingsDepending on the decisions you make you will get one of four completely different endings.
